Dog Food

Bringing home a 3-legged dog tomorrow and was making some vegetable broth and decided to make some dog food as well...

Included in the dog food:
1 box of oatmeal
1 bag brown rice
a bunch of carrots
roasted vegetables - sweet potatoes, yams, potatoes
1 bag of peas

we'll see how it goes....

My Go-to Beef Daube

Totally forgot to take pictures, and we are still aren't finished, but it smells GREAT! I was surprised to use an entire bottle of wine, so I am really anxious to see how it turns out. I will post a picture of the final product.

After the first hour in the oven...






This was they type of garlic I had on hand, so I threw a bunch of cloves in the pot to cook and it turned out pretty well.

And this was the wine I used...

All in all it turned out great! Looking forward to next weeks recipe.

Starting next week...

I will be posting my attempts at French Cooking based on Dorie Greenspan's new book. Since everything else I have attempted from her has been amazing, I have high expectations!!
